The Ascension St. Vincent’s Foundation is thrilled to announce the return of its prestigious Delicious Destinations event. Mark your calendars for Sept. 6 and 7, as the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club transforms into a coastal speakeasy. The theme for 2024, "Sip, Savor & Support," invites you to indulge in culinary delights and perfectly paired wines in a setting reminiscent of the 1920s.

The chairs of the 22nd annual Delicious Destinations include several distinguished members of our medical community. Dr. Abdi Abbassi, a gastroenterologist at Digestive Disease Consultants, and his wife Kristina Abbassi, alongside Dr. Valery Muenyi, also a gastroenterologist Digestive Disease Consultants, and his wife Dr. Sofia Muenyi, a family physician at UF Health Jacksonville, are at the helm of this year’s event.

"We are excited to carry on the Delicious Destinations tradition and contribute to the vital support it brings to Ascension St. Vincent's Mission," said Dr. Abdi Abbassi. "This is a wonderful opportunity for us to showcase Ascension St. Vincent's commitment to both healthcare and philanthropy in Northeast Florida.”

This year's event promises an unforgettable experience as you savor the masterpieces crafted by the region’s most celebrated chefs. Guests can expect to step back in time as they enjoy carefully crafted dishes that reflect the coastal-themed speakeasies of the roaring 20s. Last year’s event was a tremendous success, raising more than $298,000, which provided essential medical services, medication management, and healthcare education to those in need.
