Virtual Message Board for the Daughters of Charity
The Daughters of Charity is a group of sisters who founded us in 1916, formed Ascension in 1999, and were missioned here through 2014. In dedication to our Mission, last year we owned and operated 24 outreach ministries that improved the lives of over 36,000 local men, women, and children.
Though the Daughters of Charity no longer walk our halls each day, they still guide us through their work at Ascension, and give us HOPE FOR HEALTHCARE. It is with this same gratitude and sense of compassion that we have launched this virtual message board for the Daughters, who like us, have felt the weight of the pandemic in their lives.
Thank you to everyone who has submitted notes for the Daughters so they know we have not forgotten about them and that we miss them.
Message To The Sisters
"Hi, Daughters of Charity! During this difficult year, I’ve been especially inspired by your legacy of compassion and healing. It’s so comforting to know that there are people like you in the world who see people suffering and refuse to remain on the sidelines. In dark times I always am reminded to look for the helpers, but your service goes beyond just helping, it’s truly transformational. Thank you for all you have done for our community!"
- Kristen
Prayers and blessings and gratitude for all your unselfish love and work.

I hope that all of you are well during this difficult and challenging times. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication in serving many communities with unconditional love and endless support. I grew up with the influence and inspiration of Daughters of Charity and their motivation to help other brothers and sisters of our communities to spread peace, love, and faith. We are all God's children and I wish everyone a happy, blessed, and joyous holiday season. Again, you have changed the world for the better and continue to do God's work in your thoughts, actions, and prayers! God bless everyone!
